love for filmmaking began while filming little short films with a group of friends.  He still works with a few of those friends over 20 years later.  Chris studied Theatre and Filmmaking in College but ended up getting his Bachelors degree in Business Administration.   Eight years ago Chris and his childhood friend Geoff Hamby decided to make a short horror film called Zombie Hunter.  Chris starred and Produced the film.  Zombie Hunter ended up being watched on line by over 150,000 views and has shown in festivals in numerous countries like Japan, Poland, South Africa, Ireland, Scotland, and England just to name a few.  Zombie Hunter gave Chris a small fanbase of not only fans but industry folks as well and this lead Chris to acting in numerous films and Producing some too.

Next, Chris Produced and starred in the period horror film Carnies as the strongman Virgil.  He worked with horror icon and creature performer Doug Jones as well as horror icon Reggie Bannister.
Chris has also acted in such horror films as Chillerama, as a singing and dancing werewolf type creature.  Chillerama had one of the biggest premieres in cinematic history with over 3000 people showing up to the screening at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.   Chris can MV5BNDY3NzE3MTUyNV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwMDkzNzQ0OA@@._V1_SY317_CR5,0,214,317_also be seen in the indie hit film Bloody Bloody Bible Camp as the character skunk and he did the stunts as well.  Coming up he can be seen in the 70’s style Roger Corman type film Werewolves in Heat.
Chris recently had the first screening of his feature length directorial debut Pain is Beautiful.  He also Produced, wrote the story, and starred in the film.  Pain is Beautiful is about a man named William who was born with a disorder called CIPA, Congenital Insensitivity to Pain.  It means that he was born with no pain or pleasure sensations.  William, played by Staviski, decides that he wants to know what pain feels like and starts to kidnap and torture his victims.  This film is told in a very unconventional way and is much more than a typical serial killer film.
Coming up this year, Chris is Producing and acting in the feature film Drawing Dead which is a poker themed horror film.  He is Producing with award winning screenwriter Kelly Parks and will star Doug Jones (Hellboy, Pan’s Labryinth) and Gary Graham (Star Trek Enterprise, Alien Nation TV series).
Also, Chris is producing the Australian horror anthology Blood Lines with Pain is Beautiful screenwriter and producer Lee Woodford.
And, Chris is producing, writing, directing, and acting in two segments of the five segmented Super-hero Comedy anthology Squadron of Heros.
When Chris is not working in the film industry he loves to BBQ with his wife Saima, and
their Siberian Husky named Chinook.  Chris’s company Chinook Productions is named after his dog and she is also the logo.  Along with BBQing, Chris loves baseball, traveling, hiking, and exercising.  His goal in the next few years is to open a restaurant in Maui with his wife.
