Show #150

my guest Mark L. Harvey aka SNOOPPER on the blogs. Mark is a veteran in the US Military and had his own radio on BLOG TALK RADIO

We will be talking about the passing of a great American Patriot Tim “Loki” Kerlin is a very close friend of Mark.loki andrea shea king722682_n  We met upon many occasions and even though he stood about 5 feet tall, he was a GIANT in my eyes. He was a Patriot and a Constitutional Scholar above everyone else I have ever met or listened to because he actually READ the document and healso read Madison’s Notes on the Constitution from 1787.

As for me, I spent years and years fighting for this country and most of the “battles” fought will never be talked about. My “handle” is Snooper and that was given to me by people I talked to “on the radio” of times past. Try and figure out what a “snooper” is and that’s me…I was good at it.

Many things I cannot divulge but I am a Patriot’s Patriot and this is why people like Loki and I get along as well as we do. When Loki was sailing off of Iran in ’79, I was IN Iran at that time. That’s all I can say about that.

Actor, Producer, Director, Paul Koslos

Air Date: Dec. 29, 2013

Show #146

PAUL KOSLO actor, producer and director. This Lean-faced, intense-looking, German-MV5BMTI5NzA2NjI0OV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNzY5NTQzMQ@@._V1_SY317_CR7,0,214,317_born, Canada-raised Paul Koslo was at his busiest during the 1970s, usually playing shifty, untrustworthy and often downright nasty characters.

He first broke into films at age 22 in the low-budget Little White Crimes (1966), and then appeared in a rush of movies taking advantage of his youthful looks, including cult favorites Vanishing Point (1971) and The Omega Man (1971), and the western Joe Kidd (1972), martial arts blaxploitation flick Cleopatra Jones (1973) and crime thriller The Stone Killer (1973).

After working alongside such stars as John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, Walter Matthau and Charles Bronson, Koslo’s career drifted towards television, and in the 1980s he regularly guest-starred on such TV series as The Incredible Hulk (1978), The A-Team (1983), Matlock (1986), MacGyver (1985) and The Fall Guy (1981). Unfortunately, most of his film work in the 1990s and beyond was “straight-to-video” fare, such as Chained Heat II (1993) and Desert Heat (1999).

Koslo is well remembered by many as smart-mouthed small-time hood Bobby Kopas, trying to shake down melon grower Charles Bronson in Mr. Majestyk (1974).

Paul was born in Germany, raised in Canada, trained with the National Theatre School in Montreal. Paul speaks perfect German.

He met his wife, Allaire Paterson-Koslo, at The MET Theatre in Hollywood, when he produced a one-woman show, “Purple Breasts”, a critically acclaimed play she co-wrote and starred in.

He is one of the founding members of The MET Theatre since 1974 and continues to be on the Board of Directors.

Show #141

Frank Cullotta. Former Chicago Enforcer Former Las Vegas Mobster

Frank was born on December 14, 1938 in Chicago. He began his criminal career as a 945926_4747881820797_1599336640_nteenager. Graduating from petty theft to burglary, armed robbery, arson and of course, murder. While growing up he met another tough young kid like him on the mean streets. His name was Tony Spilotro. They became friends. Stealing and committing other crimes together. Tony went on to become a made man and feared enforcer of the Chicago Outfit. In 1971, while Frank was in prison, the Outfit bosses sent Tony to Las Vegas to keep an eye on their casino interests.

After Frank got out on parole Tony invited him to join him in Sin City. Frank Cullotta functioned as Tony’s lieutenant, watched his back and formed and ran a crew of burglars, robbers, arsonists, and killers that became known as the Hole in the Wall Gang.

Tony and Frank had a serious falling out in 1982; and at Tony’s request the Chicago bosses approved a contract to have Frank killed. Frank Cullotta was facing either life in prison as a repeat felon or certain death at the hands of Outfit hit men. Frank did the unthinkable, He rolled and became a government witness.

Frank Cullotta entered the federal witness protection program in early 1982 and admitted to the FBI that he had arranged the murders of James Miraglia and Billy McCarthy, known as the “M&M Murders”, on behalf of Tony Spilotro. Frank Cullotta also admitted to the 1979 murder of Sherwin Lisner, and provided them with information regarding other burglaries.

Frank’s subsequent testimony resulted in the convictions of several of his former associates. Frank was preparing to testify against Tony Spilotro in June 1986, when Tony was murdered by the Outfit just prior to the trial getting underway.

In 1995 Frank was contacted by screenwriter Nicholas Pileggi regarding the Martin Frank-CullottaScorsese film Casino. Frank was hired as one of several technical consultants to the movie in which actor Joe Pesci played a character based on Tony Spilotro; and Frank Vincent played “Frankie,” a character based on Frank Cullotta. In the film Frank appeared in several scenes as a killer, including one that was a fictionalized version of a murder he actually committed in Las Vegas in 1979. Pileggi said it was the first time he knew of where a real-life killer recreated a murder on the screen.

In 2007 Frank and true-crime writer Denny Griffin co-authored Frank’s biography, Cullotta: The Life of a Chicago Criminal, Las Vegas Mobster and Government Witness (True Crime)
